Recently I took part in a competition organised by the Augsburg District Office (Landratsamt Augsburg) in Bavaria, not far from Munich, Germany. I was overjoyed to receive the news that I had won. As one of the winning artists, I have been given the opportunity to exhibit my collection "Die Welt der Vögel" for a year, from May 2024 to April 2025.
Thirty of my bird photos—captured in Australia, Japan, and Germany—are now displayed for an entire year in the Art Room of the District Office building, a place bustling with visitors. This is a great opportunity to have my work seen by more people than ever before, reaching more viewers than my printed photos have ever reached.
During the official vernissage on May 27, 2024, District Administrator Martin Sailer (on the far right of the photo) and Cultural Affairs Officer Carina Kaminski (on the far left of the photo) presented the new artworks in the art room of the Augsburg Landratsamt.
